Dissipative coupling of photon BECs

March 16, 2022 Admin

A new article by our group is published in Commmunications Physics as part of the Focus Collection “Unconventional computing with optical simulation of spin Hamiltonians”. In this work, we realize and investigate dissipatively coupled photon Bose-Einstein condensates. Such systems can be thought of as the building blocks of optical spin glass simulators that can be used for the solution of mathematical optimization problems.
